Job Title: Propagation Technician
Department: Eden Green Technology Greenhouse
Status: Full-Time
Pay Band: $14–$16 per Hour
Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:45 PM

Job Summary:

Eden Green Technology is seeking a passionate, driven, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Propagation Technician. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys manual labor-intensive work and is eager to contribute to the propagation process within a fast-growing, innovative company. Prior experience in Controlled Environment Agriculture or food production is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain propagation equipment and follow established procedures to support effective plant propagation aligned with the crop schedule.
   
• Execute propagation techniques such as seeding, racking seedlings, cleaning propagation trays, and other related tasks to complete production goals.
   
• Accurately record data related to propagation activities, including inventory, emergence rates, and pest incidence.
   
• Adapt to changing hours and production goals as required.
   
• Work with plants in a production environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization to prevent disease and pest outbreaks.
   
• Communicate clearly with the Propagation Supervisor regarding any challenges or roadblocks encountered.
   
• Experiment with new propagation techniques and technologies to improve success rates.
   
• Exhibit attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
   
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
   
• Maintain a safe and positive work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Strict adherence to food safety standards, PPE use, and cleanliness protocols in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory standards.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
   

Job Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States.
   
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
   
• Ability to stand and maintain a steady pace for an entire 8-hour shift.
   
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
   
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including holidays and weekends as needed.
   
• Ability to work in warm, humid greenhouse environments.
