Job description- Delivery Driver 

Eden Green Technology is looking for passionate, driven and hardworking individuals to fill positions as Delivery Driver. Delivery Driver positions are hands-on and require individuals who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and are accustomed to manual labor-intensive jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Follow delivery routes and schedules provided by the dispatch team.
• Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure and upon arrival at the destination.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, including greeting customers, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints professionally.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating delivery vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and other company personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues as they arise.
• Uphold company policies and procedures related to delivery operations and customer service.
• Maintain a safe and positive work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, promoting teamwork, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or a similar role.
• Knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as needed.
• Basic math skills for verifying orders and handling cash transactions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

• Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.

Job Requirements: AM

• Must be at least 18 years old

• The Delivery Driver will primarily work outdoors, driving company vehicles in various weather conditions.
• Must have dependable transportation

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and drive for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to operate vehicle controls and handle delivery equipment.

• Occasional exposure to greenhouse, distribution center or warehouse environments while loading and unloading goods.
• Will help in other areas of the Greenhouse when not driving
