Job Title: Production Technician

Pay Range: $14 – $16 per hour

Position Summary:

Eden Green Technology is seeking motivated, dedicated, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Production Technicians. This hands-on position requires individuals who are comfortable with physically demanding work and enjoy contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on sustainable agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transplant seedlings into vine systems for optimal growth.
   
• Manually clean and sanitize greenhouse areas as needed to maintain hygienic conditions.
   
• Harvest mature plants and prepare them for transfer to the packing facility.
   
• Safely operate scissor lifts for plant care tasks (note: this role involves working at heights).
   
• Perform sanitation procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
   
• Carry out horticultural tasks including training, de-leafing, pruning, lowering, truss support, and harvesting to maintain plant health and productivity.
   
• Conduct regular plant maintenance to ensure optimal plant development.
   
• Support greenhouse preparation and post-operation clean-up while adhering to industry standards.
   
• Collaborate with the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Team by applying beneficial insects to crops.
   
• Monitor and promptly report any signs of pests, diseases, or crop abnormalities.
   
• Adhere to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
   
• Strict adherence to food safety standards, PPE use, and cleanliness protocols in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
   

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
   
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
   
• Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels.
   
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
   

Preferred Attributes:

• Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or greenhouse operations is a plus.
   
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
   
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
